HalfBuilt was created around one simple belief: a promising idea should never be abandoned simply because the person behind it could not find the right co-founder.

There are people with ideas but without the technical, operational or creative support required to build them. At the same time, talented people around the world are searching for something meaningful to work on. HalfBuilt exists to bring these people together.

Our goal is not to decide which ideas will succeed. It is to give founders a place to share what they are building, discover people who complement their abilities and start conversations that might otherwise never happen.

HalfBuilt is being built by a founder for fellow founders. The founder has chosen to keep their personal identity private for now so that attention remains on the community and the mission rather than on an individual.

We are working to keep HalfBuilt free for as long as we reasonably can. There are currently no subscriptions, connection fees or hidden payments. We believe finding someone to build with should not depend on your ability to pay for access.

We know that not every introduction will become a company and not every idea will succeed. But every serious idea deserves the opportunity to be explored.

HalfBuilt does not build companies for its users. It creates the space where the right people might meet and begin.
